A deep dive into the ancient system that maps the vibrational energy of your name to reveal your destiny, inner desires, and personality.

What is name numerology?

Numerology holds that every letter carries a unique energetic frequency. When these frequencies combine in your name, they produce a vibrational signature that influences your character, relationships, and life path. By reducing the compound total of your name's letters to a core single digit, numerologists identify three key numbers: your Destiny, your Soul Urge, and your Personality.

A brief history of Chaldean numerology.

Chaldean numerology originates from the ancient Chaldeans of Babylonia — an Akkadian-speaking people who inhabited the southern marshlands of Mesopotamia around 900–600 BCE. Their mathematicians and astrologers developed a numeric system in which each sound carries its own cosmic vibration, influencing the person who carries it throughout their life.

The system was later documented and popularised in the West by the Irish numerologist Count Louis Hamon — better known as Cheiro — in his influential 1900 work Cheiro's Book of Numbers. Cheiro combined Chaldean letter values with Vedic principles and spread the system to Victorian society, reading for celebrities including Oscar Wilde, Mark Twain, and King Edward VII.

Today, Chaldean numerology remains widely practiced across India, the Middle East, and the West. It is favoured by many practitioners precisely because its letter-value assignments are not arbitrary — they reflect centuries of observation linking sound frequencies to human character patterns.
